Summary
Engineering operatives will work individually or as part of a team to carry out a range of engineering operations. The role requires compliance with statutory regulations and organisation safety requirements including identifying hazards and hazardous situations whilst carryig out the engineering activities in line with their job role. This generally includes obtaining and following the appropriate job documentation and work instructions and carrying out quality checks as required.
We offer five of the options within the standard: Maintenance, Mechanical Manufacturing, Electrical and Electronic, Fabrication, and Materials, Processing and Finishing

Gateway Requirements
Apprentices must have compiled and submitted an EPA Portfolio which the professional discussion will be based on.
Apprentices must have achieved English and maths qualifications in line with the apprenticeship funding rules.
Apprentice must have achieved Level 2 Certificate or Diploma in engineering Operations (Knowledge)
