Become a Centre
Become an EPA Centre
Becoming a centre for end-point assessment (EPA) is an easy and straightforward process. You will be personally supported by us through the process.
You will need to become a centre if you are:
A training provider and you have, or intend to choose Energy & Environment Awards to carry out your end-point assessment.
An employer with apprentices who will take an Energy & Environment Awards end-point assessment and are involved in one or more of the following:
- Supplying an assessor to carry out the practical observation

Note – if the training provider manages all aspects of the end-point assessment, the employer does not have to become an Energy & Environment Awards centre.
Centre benefits include:
- No approval fee
- Access to additional resources to help prepare for end-point assessment
- Keep in touch with apprentice progress using the ACE360 system
- Learning from Experience meetings ensure you are heard and we are always improving

Ongoing Quality Assurance
Once approved, you can proudly showcase your status by using the Energy & Environment Awards logo across your website, marketing materials, certificates and communications. Displaying the logo demonstrates your credibility and commitment to recognised standards.
You will receive the official logo along with brand guidelines, ensuring it is used clearly and consistently.
We also monitor training, assessment and administration activity on an ongoing basis. You have at least one audit a year, and we will sample your delivery, assessment, standardisation and IQA activities.
If you are already an approved centre and would like to receive the logo and guidelines, please contact [email protected] to request them.
