Apprenticeship Assessment
At Energy & Environment Awards, we’re taking a flexible approach to Apprenticeship Assessment Qualifications (AAQs), giving apprenticeship providers greater choice over how assessments are delivered.
Our Approach
Our service delivery approach is built around five key principles, giving you greater autonomy, flexibility and support throughout the assessment process.
By working in partnership with you, we aim to make apprenticeship assessment easier to manage, while maintaining the quality and standards you expect.
Empower Providers
Deliver assessments with confidence and greater autonomy.
Our approach is designed to give providers more control over assessment delivery, allowing you to make the most of your team's expertise while accessing our support when needed.
Flexibility
Select the assessment model that works best for your organisation.
Whether you want to deliver some assessment activities yourself, use our experienced assessors or combine both approaches, we'll work with you to find the right solution, where permitted.
Agile
Adapt quickly when circumstances change.
We understand that your organisation's needs and capacity may change. Our approach is designed to accommodate these changes, giving you the flexibility to adjust assessment arrangements when needed.
Trust
Built on partnership, not paperwork.
We believe effective apprenticeship assessment starts with strong working relationships. By working closely with providers, we aim to make the assessment process straightforward, supportive and collaborative.
Digitally Enabled
Modern assessment supported by digital technology.
Where appropriate, we'll support digital assessment approaches to help make delivery more efficient and accessible, while maintaining quality and consistency.

End-Point Assessment During the Transition
As apprenticeship assessment is introduced, our existing end-point assessment (EPA) services will continue to be available during the transition. Both offers will operate alongside each other, helping training providers and employers access the assessment services they need.
