Assessment Manager
Reporting to the Senior Assessment Manager, you will play a key role in the design, development, and review of a suite of vocational qualifications, including apprenticeship assessments and other regulated qualifications. Working alongside a team of experienced assessment developers and technical experts, you will contribute to meeting delivery milestones while ensuring assessments are robust, consistent, and fully compliant with regulatory and apprenticeship requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience of developing vocational qualifications and assessments within an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation. You will also be experienced in working with technical experts, managing deadlines, and quality assuring written materials to a high standard.
Salary: £48,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid/Solihull (a minimum of 2 days based in the office per week)

Head of Corporate Communications
Working across our industries in an influential role, the Head of Corporate Communications, will be responsible for shaping and managing our public affairs and communications priorities. Your public affairs and sector insights, partner intelligence and other evidence will critically inform our strategy, positioning Energy & Utility Skills as the influential thought leader in the skills area. This is an exciting and influential role that allows you to take full ownership of public affairs activities including building and maintaining partner relationships across our engagement with governments, parliaments, and assemblies. You will also play a key role in supporting staff engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion, ensuring we amplify our position as an employer of choice both internally and externally.
To succeed in this role, you will be a senior manager adept at both strategic and operational delivery of all aspects of corporate communications. You will be collaborative, organised and driven in your approach and have a track record of building and maintaining effective partner relationships at all levels. You will have extensive experience in a public affairs and/or external affairs role within skills or regulated qualifications/assessment with an excellent understanding of the policy landscape.
Salary: £65,000 per annum

Executive Assistant to Managing Director
Reporting to the Managing Director the Executive Assistant will provide critical PA, secretarial and administrative support, and where required, the Chair and Senior Leadership Team, including managing the Managing Director’s diary and making arrangements for supporting agendas and papers.
You will make all arrangements in relation to the company’s Board meetings, preparing and distributing supporting papers and drafting and issuing minutes.
Providing day to day guidance on the Managing Director’s priorities, you will co-ordinate Senior Leadership Team, and wider management team meetings, recording and tracking progress against actions and providing analysis of issues and trends. You will support key finance and people processes and support the co-ordination of key Senior Leadership Team activities.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,500 (£40,250 FTE)
Location: Hybrid/Solihull (a minimum of 2 days based in the office per week)
