Summary
The Energy & Environment Awards Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Maintenance Technician (Single Discipline) supports individuals working in engineering maintenance roles to develop the technical skills and knowledge required to operate safely and competently in their chosen discipline, Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation and Control. Suitable for learners aged 16 and over, the qualification provides a robust foundation across core engineering maintenance activities.
Our qualification has been thoroughly mapped to the knowledge and skills requirements of the Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician apprenticeship standard, ensuring strong alignment with employer needs and sector expectations. This makes it suitable for use as part of an apprenticeship programme, while also offering value beyond apprenticeships.
