We’re pleased to announce that Carol Snape and Martin Hottass have joined our organisation as Non-Executive Directors, bringing exceptional experience and a shared commitment to advancing skills and opportunities across the energy and utilities sector.
Carol Snape
Carol joins us with over two decades of expertise in vocational and technical education. Throughout her career, she has championed inclusive learning and worked tirelessly to create opportunities for those furthest from education. Her passion for transforming lives through learning will be instrumental as we continue to grow and innovate.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development Energy and Environment Awards, as it starts on its journey as a newly formed awarding organisation in such a dynamic industry. With over two decades experience in vocational and technical education at a senior level, I have seen first-hand how learning can open doors and transform lives. I look forward to bringing this experience to bear in supporting Energy and Environment Awards’ growth and success.”
Martin Hottass
Martin brings extensive experience in technical training and national skills policy, with a proven track record of driving workforce development and productivity. His work has spanned mega infrastructure projects and strategic workforce planning, making him a valuable asset in delivering our growth ambitions.
“I’m looking forward to working with Energy & Environment Awards to develop and deliver on the right skills we need in the sector. Assuring competence is key to the success of the whole nation, it’s also key in areas identified as having skills shortages, and it’s especially key to the safety of individual workers. I’m pleased to bring decades of sector experience, skills thought-leadership, and in-depth knowledge of technical skills – from gas pipelines to building power stations – to help Energy & Environment Awards grow.”
We’re excited about the experience and energy Carol and Martin will bring to our organisation and support the growth of Energy & Environment Awards to be the awarding organisation of choice for the energy and utilities sector.
