Powered by Providers: EUSR Training Network Grows

With 200 EUSR Approved Providers now delivering training across the UK and Ireland, EUSR continues to grow in step with the sector’s needs. This milestone reflects the sector’s shared commitment to safety, quality, and capability — with training and assessment at the heart of it.

Our network of 200 Approved Providers, combined with over 600 Trainers, reflects the increasing demand for skilled workers in the sector, aligning with Energy & Utility Skills research that shows around 312,000 new recruits will be needed by 2030 to prepare a workforce capable of delivering record investment, while also meeting environmental and infrastructure goals

There are over 310,000 individuals on our Register who hold more than 800,000 registrations on EUSR schemes. These numbers reflect the scale and trust placed in EUSR schemes to deliver the right skills, at the right time, in the right way.

To ensure quality and consistency, all EUSR schemes are delivered by trainers with sector experience who undergo rigorous approval and quality assurance processes. This, combined with the EUSR Register, gives employers confidence that individuals are equipped to perform their roles safely and competently — helping to develop and maintain the UK’s critical infrastructure.

Working in partnership with our network of Approved Providers and Trainers, EUSR schemes support a safe, skilled workforce across the energy and utilities sector. With providers based across the UK and Ireland – with many offering remote delivery – training is more accessible than ever.

“We are delighted that we have reached this milestone of 200 Approved Training Providers,” said Fergus Kaye, Head of EUSR. “Our Approved Providers and Trainers play a critical role in helping people within the industry get home safely from work to their families.”

“Our EUSR schemes are developed with employers and training providers, ensuring that they meet the needs of the sector. And our Register gives employers and others the confidence that individuals hold the skills they need to work safely in this critical sector”, said Rachel Thomas, Managing Director.
