Summary
A water process operative carries out operations in a clean water or wastewater treatment facility to ensure water safety. In both environments they operate treatment work assets and take, monitor, record and interpret water samples to ensure treatment processes are working effectively.
There are two pathways within the occupation:

Gateway Requirements
The employer must be content that the apprentice is working at or above the occupational standard.
Achieved English and maths qualifications in line with the apprenticeship funding rules.
A portfolio to underpin the interview.
