Business Development & Sales Manager

Reporting to the Senior Sales and Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success across the Energy & Environment Awards portfolio. You will manage the full end‑to‑end sales cycle for a diverse range of solutions, including End-Point Assessment (EPA), qualifications, EUSR schemes and Endorsed Training Programmes (ETPs). Combining proactive new business development with strategic account management, you will build strong, long‑lasting customer relationships that support retention and sustainable growth within your allocated region. To thrive in this role, you will bring proven experience in business development and sales, ideally gained within a training provider or an Ofqual‑recognised awarding organisation.

Salary: £50,000 per annum, plus Car Allowance of £5k + eligibility for company bonus scheme.

Location: Home based with regular UK travel.

Corporate Communications Executive

The Corporate Communications Executive will play a key role in managing the delivery of corporate communications for the Energy & Utility Skills Group. The role will be responsible for programme planning and coordination for corporate communications and public affairs.

This role supports the Head of Corporate Communications in delivering internal and external communications while enhancing consistency, reach, and impact. It also leads support for the Skills and Learning Policy Forum and the Communications and Promotion Group.

Content and Communications Executive

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Content and Communications Executive will play a key role in delivering strategic and corporate communications across a wide range of channels, including social media.

You will be responsible for creating and curating impactful content that drives engagement, and maximises organic reach across web and AI search. You will collaborate with, digital marketing, and subject matter experts to produce high-quality articles, web pages, and web copy that align with SEO best practices and Energy & Utility Skills’ tone of voice.

Aligned to our strategy, values and personality you will demonstrate an excellent ‘new sense’ and work at pace to ensure our impact across the UK is captured and that our ‘story’ is told.

Research and Insights Officer

The Research and Insights Officer will play a key role in developing the Energy & Utility Skills Group’s research and data insight capability.

Working alongside the Workforce Planning Consultant, this role will lead on the development, analysis, and presentation of internal primary data sources (including the Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) and Energy & Utility Careers & Jobs (EUCJ), in addition to harnessing secondary and tertiary public sources.

The role will support evidence-based decision-making, shape workforce strategy across the sector and the four nations, and ensure the Group is positioned to deliver high-quality insight in support of the 2025-30 Skills Strategy.

Quality Manager

Contract: Co-located/Solihull (a minimum of 2 days in the office per week)

Salary: £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Join Energy & Environment Awards – an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation and wholly owned subsidiary of the Energy & Utility Skills Group. We deliver end point assessments, regulated qualifications, and EUSR – the sector’s register of skills and industry recognised training programmes.

About the role:

Energy & Environment Awards (EEA) are looking for a talented Quality Manager to join our team at an exciting stage of growth. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving quality, fostering innovation, and strengthening organisational standards as we continue to expand and deliver excellence to the UK’s energy and utilities industries.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working alongside an experienced Quality Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance across EEA’s regulated qualifications, apprenticeship programmes, and end point assessments. Additionally, the role will lead the recruitment and onboarding of our large and growing network of associates and subject matter experts, including assessors, Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) and External Quality Assurers (EQA), ensuring their training, initial standardisation, and on-going performance management.

To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring experience from an awarding organisation or a training provider delivering regulated qualifications, along with a solid  grounding in assessment, quality assurance, and an excellent understanding of the Conditions of Recognition.
